The Original Illustrated Sherlock Holmes
with 37 Short Stories by ACD Illustrated by Sidney Paget.
It is published in the US by CASTLE in the 70s I think, not sure.
Another Ebay-shot, and I honestly did not know that Paget had made this many Illustrations! (all 356 original illustrations) The book is full of them and I was so amazed and happy.
If you would like to look for a copy you can go here or here.
I do not make any money out of this recommendations, I just want to share and show you lovely people what great books are out there!
Do you lovelies have your copy of the original canon yet? <3 <3
(I have this very book! It was my first-ever copy of the Sherlock Holmes stories, and I love it. As a kid, the illustrations really helped me get into the stories. And they still sort of do!)
Sherlock Holmes seemed delighted at the idea of sharing his rooms with me.

And this is “That Guy from the American Sherlock”:
They all play the same character, but if you called them this I would know which one you were talking about.
I call him Sherly, personally.
JLM’s interpretation just seems to be the one that it suits best, no?
HEY! Now that the con is well underway, it’s not really any secret anymore that I was lucky enough to provide the badge art! It’s been super surreal to actually see EVERYONE walking around with my art pinned to them o///////o Thank you so much to 221b Con for a great first day and for asking me to draw something so awesome!
The second picture is the back of the post cards I made to sell at my table! Come by tomorrow to pick one up for $5, and I will do a quick doodle for you on there as well!
A highly secret and somewhat serious comic I made last month for O. as part of this fine exchange. It was quite arduous to step out of my comfort zone (affectionately termed ‘unfunny joke in three panels’), although I did get some help — i.e. a lot — from comic artist extraordinaire Gabrielle and the invaluable Katie (for general Holmesiana). The whole thing under the cut.
“This illustration was made for the upcoming exhibition “Oficis Extraordinaris”, which will be part of the 2013 Valencia Book Fair. The theme, as you’ll have guessed, was to portray an “extraordinary profession” from a book. My choice was, of course, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes, world’s first and only consultant detective.”
